Top festivals to look forward to:

In recent years, there have been a number of music festivals that have popped up with names inspired by childhood nostalgia. A few years ago, an event called Summer Camp Music Festival first took place near Chicago in celebration of the ’80s-themed movies from John Hughes. Now other events such as Middlelands and Lost Lands are also drawing inspiration from their younger selves.

Each year at these events, thousands of fans come together for three days full of energetic performances and fun activities that remind us all about why we loved being young in the first place.

In between sets, there are often a variety of carnival games to play or other amusements to enjoy. And at night, the party continues with plenty of dancing under the stars.
